The Royal family and artistic freedom? What do you think?

The Norwegian artist Haakon Gullvaag has painted the King and Queen of Norway. The painting of King Harald V was unveiled by the King himself in 2000 at Oslo City Hall. The painting of Queen Sonja was unveiled in 2002.

Are these paintings disrespectful, or it is great artistic freedom, even when it includes the Norwegian Royal family? What do you think the King said when he unveiled this painting of himself? How do you think the rest of the royal family reacted?

Have your say here now :)
